Description: Royal Standard Tea Cup & Saucer Black Pink Roses Hydrangea Bone China England This cup and saucer were part of my late grandmother's collection of vintage china tea cups. The pattern on this is so pretty, with pink roses and their foliage, purplish hydrangeas and gold trim against the black. That, plus the shape of the cup and of the loop handle give it a bit of Art Deco flair that is often absent from ornately floral cups. Normal handling wear. A couple of small black dots inside cup. Normal light scratches from use. Some discoloration to gilding. One more evident scratch in the design, as shown in last photo. Saucer measures 5.625 inches in diameter. Cup is 2.625 inches tall x 3.25 inches in diameter at the rim. It is 2 inches in diameter at the base. The number 1799 is on the bottom of the cup. Great addition to your collection.
