RPPC The Unterhaseler House, Built in 1667, Interior, Rudolstadt, Germany

Description: C7334. CATEGORY: Germany TYPE: Real Photo Postcard – Continental (International) DESCRIPTION: The two-story house comes from Unterhasel, near Rudolstadt, in the fertile Saale floodplain, whose main areas of occupation were agriculture, cattle breeding, and fishing. This moderately half-timbered house on a stone base was built in 1667 (engraved above the lintel). It shows in its structure and interior design that it was the house of a wealthy middle peasant. The owner was the Hammer family, who can be traced back to the 16th century. They owned extensive estates, bore the title of “Schwarzburg Court Fisherman” and repeatedly exercised the office of mayor. Shows slight use on the back. One word written on the back. CONDITION: Card has not been mailed. .. Minor corner and edge wear. Light soiling and age tanning. Very Good condition. … Sold AS IS. Look carefully at the pictures to Judge Condition for Yourself… I mark all Postcard Mailings “Non Machineable” (and I pay the extra surcharge costs); but Still the Post Office has informed me that All postcards need to be packaged with Flexible cardboard.
