Description: Perhaps a bit art-deco in design? Whatever the case, these vintage 14K rose and yellow gold ruby and diamond earrings are simple but classy. Featuring a round illusion base with flat tapered edges, they have a scroll motif accent at the base. The center diamonds in each earring are colored graded H, with a clarity grade of SI-1, and are 2.63 mm in size, for a total weight of 0.15 carats. The (14) round, faceted, synthetic rubies total .2 carats and are an intense medium dark red. They are considered "eye-clean" and are 1.60mm in size. While the earrings are not hallmarked, nor stamped, they have been appraised twice and tested approximately 18K, despite the fact I am stating they are 14k. Each earring measures about 1.65mm in length, and about 12.40mm in diameter at the top. Total metal weight is 4.20 dwt. I bought them from well-known Houston antique jeweler - Past Era Antiques - many years ago. As I am retired, and spend much of my time out of doors, I figured I'd clean out my personal jewelry box and get these back into circulation! My last appraisal (in 2017), retailed them for $2500!
