The Carpatho-Russian Literary Society in Exile has prepared the second edition of the book. With a foreword by Panteleimon Yuryev, several photographic portraits of F. F. Aristov, and many illustrations on separate pages.Fedor Fedorovich Aristov (1888-1932) was a renowned Slavist known for his contributions to domestic Carpathian studies, orientalism, history, ethnography, and geography. He graduated from Moscow University's Faculty of History and Philology and founded the Carpatho-Russian Museum in Moscow during his student years. For his work on the first volume of "Carpatho-Russian Writers," he received the Shakhmatov Prize from the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1918. He became a professor at the Department of Oriental History of the 2nd Moscow State University in 1922. Despite his achievements, Aristov faced numerous arrests during the 1920s and 1930s, and many of his works were confiscated by the OGPU. He passed away in Moscow.
