Signed "E. Martynova". Martynova Elizaveta Mikhailovna (1868- ?), in 1890 she started studying at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Inscribed on the back "H.I.H.G.D. (Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess) Maria Nikolaevna 1914" A small repaired (overpainted) area at 6 o'clock on rim. Diameter of the plate 6 1/4 in.(15,7cm). The frame - 13 x 13 in.(33.2 x 33.2 cm).
