This is an open-work style, gold tone metal buckle with a unique inverted post design. The buckle is in pretty nice condition, as shown in the photos it has some patina, but doesn't have much for actual wear and tear from age or use. This buckle measures approximately 3" x 1-7/8", it fits a 1-1/2" wide belt and it weighs about 2.6 oz.
