I collected a few tiny plants back in 2007 and these mother plants produce seeds for me every year. The pictures were taken at Christmas in Choctaw, Oklahoma zone 7. That night it was 17F and they will not lose their leaves to freezing temperatures. This southeast Oklahoma population is very unique as they are the northernmost and most cold hardly palms in USA. Many growers in Kansas and Missouri grow them outdoors year round in the ground. Harvested Nov 2020, FRESH SEEDS! Do not need cold stratification. Keep moist until they sprout. Can take 8 months I have terrible patience so often I’ll plant my seeds in a house plant or potted plant with open soil then notice a bunch of palms sprouting!
