This volume is a first edition, first printing of volume 1 in an 18 volume commentary on the books of the New Testament. Sacra Pagina means 'sacred page'; the goal of the series is to present sound, critical analysis of the books of the New Testament with sensitivity and no loss of the religious meaning. This book is in like new condition; it's been owned but never read, and has some cosmetic flaws that don't detract from its new condition. Most noticeably, the very top and very bottom of the front cover dust jacket has some scuff marks. If you look at the first picture, you'll see a long wrinkle along the bottom of the dust jacket. At the top you can see a small wrinkle close to the spine and a series of almost-tears near the middle. Less noticeably the back of the front cover has an inscription from the original owner (see the last picture) and the back cover has a bookstore sticker. Also, page 67 has a small dog ear. That's it, though- there are no other signs of wear or aging, and the book is unread and like new in every other way. Thanks for looking at my item, and we hope you come back to Dry Creek often.
