This so-called "Thin Body" semi-acoustic model has a 14 3/4" small body and medium scale. Sadowsky Guitars Archtop inherits the style of traditional Jazz guitars, but offers modern ease of use and a stable sound that does not lose the player's feeling. This Semi Hollow model has the same body shape as the SS-15, but with a chambered center block to reduce weight. The center block and thin body thickness make it more resistant to feedback than the SS-15, while the center block itself has been machined to give it a more acoustic sound than a regular semi-acoustic. The body color is Caramel Burst, a beautiful burst from natural to a moderate amber color. The deep and beautiful flamed maple top is 5-ply, which produces moderate compression. The neck is made of 1-ply mahogany with an ebony fingerboard. Peg buttons, pickguard, tailpiece, bridge, and knobs are all made of ebony. The pickups are mounted with our own pickups, which are designed with Vintage PAF in mind. This guitar is not only for jazz, but also for borderless.
