Description: The local doctor in town had this fly rod made for him by Sage probably in the early 1980’s. It has an unusual shaft feature towards the tip from the cork as there are three joints in that location. (Pictured). Not sure why except maybe the rod was broken and repaired or the owner wanted a stiffer rod. The pole has green thread to hold the guides in place. This is a very nice rod, was well done by Sage. There is no soft or hard case with this pole. Will be shipped in a heavy duty cardboard tube.
