Description: Cromulent Designs Sanwa M17 Steering Angle Adapter Need more steering pod angle than the factory 10° shims allow? This 3D printed adapter allows for 20° degrees of angle and can be modified by the user to get 30° & 40° by sanding excess material from the corners. Installs using M3x10mm button head screws (not included) and all of the factory hardware. No permanent modifications to the radio at all - fully reversible back to OEM condition. Install instructions:Tools needed: 2mm & 2.5mm hex wrenchesParts Needed: qty (3) M3x10mm button or cap head machine screws (not included) and original 10° adapter plates that came with the radio 1. Remove steering pod as per OEM manual2. Install factory 10° shim in the OEM mounting bracket - use opposite direction of desired angle.3. Route wiring through opening in the adapter plate.4. Secure adapter plate to the steering pod using the four M3x10 OEM tapping screws. 5. Secure adapter plate to OEM mounting bracket using three M3x10mm button head screws (not included). 6. Reinstall steering pod in the reverse order of disassembly. Possible angle combinations:1. 20° right - use left OEM shim2. 30° right - use centered OEM shim (requires shaving corners off adapter)3. 40° right - use right OEM shim (requires shaving corners off adapter)4. 20° left - use right OEM shim5. 30° left - use centered OEM shim (requires shaving corners off adapter)6. 40° left - use left OEM shim (requires shaving corners off adapter) Radio not included - shown for demonstration purposes only.
