Description: Iconic Sanyo BoomBox!!! Has been sitting in the garage for years. Cosmetically the unit is in solid condition, a perfect candidate for restoration in my opinion. Selling for parts or ideally for repair. The flaws: -cassette compartment will not close when a cassette is inserted, unsure what the issue is. The cassette player door closes and opens fine when nothing is inserted. Due to being unable to test the cassette player, I will assume it is not in working condition. -cosmetic blemishes & dust that has been sitting on the unit for decades (I cleaned it up pretty well but will require a deep clean during restoration) -Cassette Player buttons appear to click fine but are untested The Good: - overall solid cosmetic shape, no cracks or broken parts. Includes both intact antennas. - Radio unit works & the sound is loud and sounds decent to me, might need some TLC but speakers are working. -No corrosion or damage inside the battery compartment (untested for use with batteries)
