Description: DESCRIPTION: Art Deco style Sarreguemines France art pottery pitcher with handle. Features a stunning slate blue crystalline drip glaze. Measures 5 3/4" tall and about 7 1/2" wide at the handle. The bottom of the pitcher is pretty heavily glazed so it is hard to read the impressed mark - you can make of the word "FRANCE" and above that the letters "SARRE...", although it is faint. I have seen other pitchers online with an identical shape that were clearly impressed "SARREGUEMINES FRANCE" and one had the code "4210". I have also seen other Sarreguemines pottery with this type of glaze marked "ETNA". Excellent condition with one small glaze pop on one side, and a minor factory stress crack in the clay at one corner where the handle attaches to the body (this is very stable and under the glaze).________________________________________________________________ MULTIPLE PURCHASES: I will gladly combine items for a savings on shipping!
