Still holding solidly together for a fragilely printed and bound book. There are bumped corners and light soiling on the covers, but nothing major. It's a nice addition to any rare book collection and especially for a Doris Lessing fan printed during the height of the Red Scare of the 1950's! The introduction is in Russian while the text of the book is in English. 315 number pages. Measures approximately 5 1/4 x 8 inches. About 3/4 of an inch thick. It's worth a google search to learn more about this important and talented woman's life and career! Each item will be posted in a plastic cover between two strong, cross grained, hard to bend, pieces of cardboard.
