The collector had the foresight decades ago to preserve the original look and feel of what are now 40, 50 and in some cases 60+ year old tiny pieces of graphic and cultural history by not stripping out the matches. There are over 3,000 vintage original matchbooks from mostly the 1940's-1980's that I will be listing here on eBay over the coming weeks and months. 90% of the collection are full unstruck packs in very good to excellent condition. There are some exceptions where there are a few or more matches missing and/or marks on the on the strike area or the condition is less than very good. Working alone, I don't have the available time to describe every pack in the detail I would like to. For every matchbook, I have provided quality photos of both sides of a closed pack, the matches contained within and any graphics or text, if present. I do have duplicates of some designs - but the matchbook you see in the photos is the exact one that you will receive.
