Description: Schatz Brass German Ships Bell Clock 6" diameter keeps excellent time, with winding key included. Front rim bezel and solid brass case have been lightly polished. Clock has been completely inspected, cleaned, oiled, & case polished (minor case staining consistent with age.) Beveled glass front and dial face are in very nice condition. Please view all photos to appreciate condition. Strikes on the standard 4 hour ships cycle. Can be set for silent operation from selector screw on back of case. This clock dates to about 1970. Included at no extra charge is a custom made 3D printed base, so that the clock can be displayed on a table or mantle. The back rim also has holes for wall mounting if desired. Bell chimes properly on the hour & half hour in standard nautical sequence: 1 bell – 12:30 2 bells 1:00 3 bells – 1:30 etc.------- 8 bells – 4:00, then it repeats every 4 hours I will carefully bubble wrap. and ship free via Ground delivery to US destinations.
