Description: Glant brings almost 15 years of professional playing and coaching experience to the Cardinals. He was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the seventh round of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft out of Purdue. Glant, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, advanced as high as Triple-A with the Diamondbacks in 2007 and 2008. Following the 2008 season, the right-handed pitcher continued his professional career in four different independent leagues from 2009-11. He played for the Schaumburg Flyers (Northern League), Mayos de Navajoa (Mexican Pacific League), Medellin Potros (Colombian Winter League) and Winnipeg Goldeyes (American Association). This is his 4th of July red button-down jersey with “FLYERS” across the front incorporating a US flag in the wording. Black edged in white “20” sewn on the back as well as the front below the “RS” in “FLYERS”. A white nameplate is on the back with “GLANT” on it sewn on in black. The left sleeve features a sewn on large circular American Legion patch. He right sleeve has a diagonal sewn on “TTS” again incorporating a US flag in the wording. Under each arm to the jersey bottom are stars in alternating black and white and screened on. By Teamwork Athletic Apparel in size 2XL (46-48) and it remains in mint to very excellent condition.
