Description: Up for sale is an excellent Scherr-Tumico 6”-9” interchangeable anvil outside micrometer, with all parts present. This micrometer reads dead-nuts accurate at both the top and bottom of the screw, and includes standards in case adjustment is necessary. The only issues with this set is that they are slightly magnetized from working with 4140 and there is some damage to the knurling of the 6” anvil (caused by a previous owner seemingly having once used channel-locks to adjust it) which does not affect the accuracy or adjustability of the anvil. I have included a photo for reference. It has served me excellently, but it’s time to let it go!
