The language of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer truly is remarkable and worthy of at least investigation for those desiring to enrich their life in prayer and worship. The typeface is highly readable, especially considering its size. This is aided by superior paper quality that what you will find in modern editions. The pictures should make this clear. It has page edge gilding has some quite mild scrapes, but remains in great condition overall. I found no writing, but the presentation page was removed, though rather effectively. It is a beautiful edition with flexible, genuine leather (based on previous experience with that product code) and I found no noticeable abrasions to the binding.
