The record player doesn't start/work - when you press the start button, it starts running, the head goes to the record, starts lowering, but never lover enough to touch the record - usually stays on the middle. When you press it down by hand, it starts playing and plays until you hold it down, if you stop pressing it down, it rises up and stays there. The item is Pre-owned and has some signs of use/wear, like scratches, discoloration, some tint marks, dust leftovers, scuffs, etc. No cover or anything else, except what you see on the pictures, is available or included. What about the sound - it is more likely not perfect, but good/acceptable.
