Description: All right folks. The elusive answer to an age-old problem. What can you use to depress the ball bearing and spring of a Ratchet you are repairing? Here is your answer. This will work with quarter inch Drive, 3/8 inch drive, or half-inch drive ratchet just fine. in the picture I have shown you a half inch Ratchet but you can use it on any size under that as well . It is simple and effective. I needed something that would hold a ball bearing down other than the options that are already listed on eBay. Those options are too large for my fingers. Craftsman used to include these Z TOOLS IN all of their repair kits, but all of the modern ones do not include it. So you are left trying to figure out what you can use to make your repair kit work. A mini screwdriver? Too fat. The options already available on eBay? Too wide to fit the pawl in after you depress the ball bearing. Anyway. You catch my drift. This is a simple answer to the problem. Can anybody make this themselves? Yes. Have at it if you so choose. I’ve done the hard work for you and it will be on your doorstep in a matter of days
