About the product This is a rare black nickel tenor saxophone of the high-grade model Elegance series of Mavis' successor brand Selva, produced by Ishibashi Musical Instruments. This is a one-of-a-kind beautiful tenor saxophone with a wide range of applications, customized with 2 type neck, 2 type thumb hooks, original joint screws, and CJ mouthpiece. (with Amesel type hand carved engraving) The normal (BN neck, metal thumb hook) has a powerful, rumbling jazz sound, but the GL neck with plastic thumb hook (Selmer) has a natural, warm sound with less resistance, making it suitable for brass bands. The Yanagisawa 4CJ Custom Mouthpiece, which comes as a bonus, also has a very different sound with or without the power plate, making this a flexible customized set recommended especially for experienced wind players interested in pop music.
