Description: The Serbia 10 Dinara Banknote was issued by the Serbia National Bank in 2013. Its obverse highlights the creator of the contemporary Serbian alphabet Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic. It features Karadzic’s portrait as a young man; the exhibit of eyeglasses, pen, and an open book from the standing collection devoted to Karadzic and Dositej Obradovic. It also shows the bank seal and a photo of an old Karadzic holding a sword. Its vertically-oriented reverse side contains the coat of arms of the Republic of Serbia, the members of the First Slavic Congress in Prague in 1848, and a picture of a seated Karadzic. The note has a windowed security thread with DINAR in both English and Cyrillic in demetalized ink, and a watermark of Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic. It is 131 mm x 62 mm in size and is signed by Dr. Jorgovaka Tabakovic. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition.
