Items for sale: Series 77 figure # 1/8 77mm partially painted, figure is complete I have 3 of these early drummers, and will do a different listing for each. So if you look at the base, it is round, with a flat in the front where you can put in name of figure. This type of base is the early base, when Series 77 was in England. Another thing----when in England, based on my research, they did not make the figures in kits. The figures were assembled, and put in primer, so the collector was ready to paint from the get go. Those who had the money, could pay about four times the amount----and they could tell the "house painter" exactly what type uniform he wanted painted. And he would select the head he wanted with certain headgear. I am showing the painted figure in my collection, and you get the one in primer. Putting condition down as used due to the fact that primer should be stripped, and sword might have to be straightened up a bit First photo is a page from the Series 77 catalog showing all of the Stage 1 Series 77 figures, French Infantry, Stage 2 and Stage 3 also are Napoleonic War French soldiers. Hope to be listing them in the next couple of weeks. If I have a painted figure, or in primer, I will show views of that photos. There should be all kind of photos on the "pin it" site, and there are some nice booklets with color photos that are reasonable cost. Since different units had different uniforms, you might pick up a book that shows them with some detail. I also show a photo of the parts you will get---in kit form. Photos of front and back of figure will help in putting together your figure. They are pretty simple. My family has been listing these Series 77 figures on several of our sites. There was an auction in Florida several months ago, where we purchased the last remaining Series 77 at an auction. We are saving one of each figure---and disposing of the rest. Condition and notes: All of the parts are original castings from the 1980s, and have never been painted. They didn't come in original small individual boxes, nor did they come with instructions. To help the hobbyist, we have tried to add images and instructions. Some of the images come from the Series 77 online site. There will be a photo showing the parts you will get from me. If I have a copy of the instructions, it will be my personal copy, but will scan it---and you are encouraged to print it out. The Series 77 site was not of much help as they had no instructions, and no parts breakdown.
