Description: As you may be aware, the 2024 Olympics in Paris kick off in just over two months on July 26th. To celebrate these games, I made a series of ten elongated coins depicting different sports. When researching the 2024 games I found out that the 1924 Olympics were held in Paris as well. I loved the art for the posters and postcards from these games 100 years ago and, in particular, I liked a series of post cards done by artist E. Blanche. From these I took the inspiration to make the set of pressed coins. All coins are French 10 Centime (from before they adopted the Euro) which are the approximate size and color of US Cents. The image of liberty is preserved on the reverse of the coins. Coins will be mailed in regular envelope/cards unless otherwise requested. Due to the use of real French coins, there will be a limit on how many are made and then there will be no more. Get yours in time for the Olympics and cheer on Team USA!
