Description: Set of 12 antique A.G. Spalding Bros. Kro-Flite Sweetspot woods (ironically, with metal shafts) and irons (ironically, with wood shafts), and all but the putter have old leather wrapped handgrips. Iron heads claim to be made with “mild English steel” and have some surface rust, tarnish, scuffs, scratches and dents from age and use (some much better than others- see pictures). Two of the woods are probably in the worst shape of the set, with the club faces having become brittle with age and crumbled away. These two clubs are also each missing one screw on the bottom. One of the woods is in much better condition. The club face is intact and it is not missing any screws. Two of the irons also have spiral painting on the shafts, giving them a really cool appearance! Some of the irons are stamped with a “W” meaning that they may have been women’s clubs?? The putter is stamped with PGC-100 on the bottom and has a modern grip, and appears to be made of brass and steel. See pictures for best idea of condition. Because of their age and condition, these are being sold as-is, for collector’s items. A really cool set!!
