The pattern has since been retired. These hand painted bowls, which measure 8-1/4" in diameter x 2" deep, feature a multicolored fruit motif against a multicolored background with a flared rim. This pattern is extremely scarce with very few pieces in circulation. THE MAIN COURSE You'll find these soup bowls to be, at worst, in near-mint condition with only very minimal and minuscule surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I don't list an item as mint.) Any utensil mark or scratch that exists is "clean" and not the dingy gray scuff marks that are so common. The décor is in beautiful condition, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, both bowls are completely free of, cracks, chips, nicks, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue. One of the bowls has faint crazing on the underside only. These soup bowls are in much better condition than what is typically considered to be "excellent" or "gently used".Natural variations in finish & color are characteristic of hand crafted, hand painted, tableware and therefore no two will be identical.
