There are 4 on every 4Runner, Lexus, and FJ Cruiser. On each side, there is one of these guards in front of and behind the shock. It is important to have all 4 of them in place with all clips firmly attached as they are critical for keeping splashing water and debris out of the engine compartment and thus alternator, etc. We proudly sell these by themselves or with our splash shields which we manufacture locally in Colorado, so they are 100% Made In USA, and we sell them for half the price of the dealer with higher quality rubber.
