(Set of 4) 1950s Madame Alexander Little Women 14" Dolls Wide Spread Fingers

Description: Estate find... Lot includes all four dolls shown. One has the tag that says she is Marme but I do not know which of the sisters the three others dolls are. All four dolls are 14", straight leg, hard plastic, wide spread fingers, with ALEX on the back of the head. Three of the dolls are Margaret faces, and one is a Maggie face. Based off my research, I believe these dolls are from somewhere between 1947 and 1956. Over the years some of their joints and necks have become loose, though they are still fully attached. The clothing and hair have some dust and vintage coloration. The shoe of one doll is missing the bottom, and some of the dolls are missing the heel portion of the shoe. The glue holding some of the wigs down has started to give. All of the sleepy eyes work and none of the eyes have fogginess. The Marme doll does have some light pen writing on the inside of the undergarments, from the previous owner. Please see photos for better descriptions. Most items are vintage and sold "as is".
