The mugs are white on the outside with either a red, orange, yellow or brown interior. The lettering is embossed, hand-painted, and says: "Chaud Coffee Relax cafe" and has coffee beans embossed in and around the letters. The letters and beans appear to have been hand-painted before the pieces were fired. These mugs were made in China and stand approximately 3.25 inches tall with a diameter (at the rim) of approximately 3 3/8 inches. We believe these were made by/for Home Basics, but we have not been able to confirm this. If you have any better information on these pieces, please let us know and we'll update this post as appropriate. These make a really handsome display, whether hanging, waiting to be used; sitting on the family table filled with a favorite beverage (maybe even wine? ) or full of coffee as you entertain friends.
