Description: Small points like this are actually the norm. Arrows and atlatl darts will not fly far with a big heavy rock at one end. While large points and blades were definitly made, they were often intended for brandishing in ceremonies and dances, or for thrusting into an animal. I have selected these points to illustrate the wide variety in shape and stone.1.34 inch fluted atlatl point, made of opalized wood, 1.5 inch Texas flint arrowhead, 1.55 inch agate arrowhead, 1.29 inch Colorado flint arrowhead and 1.25 inch obsidian arrowhead. Sm-27I make all of my points, they are not historical artifacts, rather modern works of art.
