The original print was made in 1794 and is from Sharaku's second period and is a great example of his style from that time. Only 2 copies of the original print are still in existance. This high quality reproduction print is in very good condition and is presented in a decorative sleeve with an information sheet in Japanese. The print was published by Yuyudo Publishers in the 1960s, who excelled in reproducing classic prints using the original techniques with hand carved wood blocks. The print uses vivid colours and high quality paper and has a lovely bleed-through as shown.
