Description: We are pleased to offer a handsome silverplated oyster ladle in Shell from Rogers & Hamilton. The design is a figural shell at the top of an unadorned handle; it was introduced in 1893, making this piece 131 years old. Condition: Very good to excellent - a slight shadow on the back where the ladle would rest on a table or tureen and minor use scratches (see photos); otherwise no silver wear or loss, heel wear or shadows. There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined. Size: 9 1/4" long.
