Description: Shimano Poison Adrena (Gen 1) PA172MH-G 7’2” MH Md Fast (Glass Comp) Lure: 3/8-1oz (2 piece) Good Condition. This is an older Adrena model. The Monocoque fighting butt is very good, the blank between the fighting butt and handle does have a number of superficial scuffs/scratches, the EVA handle shows use and it has one hook scratch, the reel seat is very good, but the front section that rests under the reel is a little tacky (your reel foot sits on top of this area so you never feel it when fishing). The locking nut and the rest of the blank, guides and wraps are in excellent condition. The first gen Adrenas are getting increasingly hard to source. This model was made for crankbaits and it makes a fantastic all-purpose crank bait rod. If you want just one do-it-all rod for crankbaits this is an excellent candidate. It also makes a great chatterbait rod. It is a glass composite and sensitivity is very good for moving baits. Please note this is a two piece (blank into handle) fishing rod.
