It is designed to start out flat (parallel to the ground), like you would if you were handing a person a wallet. (Think about how you would hand someone a wallet- flat side up and not as if you were pulling out money or credit card) PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING THE FINGER POSITIONS WHEN DRAWING THE HOLSTER OUT OF THE POCKET- The trigger finger is NOT on the trigger but covering the trigger hole to reduce the risk of accidental discharge. When you draw out the Wallet Holster with the firearm in the back pocket, it is recommended that you feel for the trigger hole, then keep your trigger finger flat and away from the trigger until you are bringing it out in front of you. There is also a small inset in the back of the holster that allows the owner to feel where the bottom of the slide would be, reducing the risk of "slide bite". It is recommended that you go to a safe location with an unloaded firearm and test run how to draw out and shoot the pistol. Again, treat the firearm during this practice as if it were loaded and make sure that you do not point it at anyone. Aiming and shooting- as stated above, DO NOT aim the firearm like you normally would aim, but as if you were actually handing a wallet to a person- center mass and flat, with the trigger hole facing the ground. If you try to point the firearm in a normal fashion, you would likely only clip the side of the person, or even miss them completely. Immediately after drawing it out of the pocket, the holster at your side will, by design, naturally be pointed at the center mass of the target and the weapon should be discharged. After the initial round has been discharged,it can be rotated into a normal firing position and all rounds utilized if needed. If you discharge a firearm inside the Wallet Holster, creating a hole in the body of the Wallet Holster where there was no hole prior to discharging the firearm, Seller will send you a replacement Wallet Holster free of charge if you provide a copy of a police report stating that you discharged the firearm either in self-defense or if you accidentally discharge the weapon. To take advantage of this offer, you must send the Wallet Holster and the police report to Seller at your expense. Seller will pay to ship the new Wallet Holster to you. If we are able to verify the police report, we will also include the amount you paid for shipping up to USD $10.00.
