It's a UHF antenna distribution system that allows the expansion of wireless microphone systems by splitting one pair of antennas to multiple receivers. It also amplifies RF signals to compensate for insertion loss that results from splitting signal power to multiple outlets. A single UA844+ system can support up to five wireless receivers (4 channels plus the cascading output). A maximum of five systems may be used with a two-tiered configuration (see user guide). This is the LC version, which means it does not have the extra 22" BNC cables or locking power supply cables that the non-LC version has. It does come with the non-locking cables, which are suitable for QLX-D wireless systems (that also ship with their own 22" BNC cables). If you have ULXP or ULX-D single channel receivers, you want the NON-LC version of this system, which is available on our Other Listings for $614.00. However, if you have ULX-D dual or quad-channel receivers, this system will be fine because they don't need the power cables or the extra BNC cables.
