This was drawn off a bank account at First Produce State Bank in Minneapolis by Hartman, the Minneapolis Lakers General Manager, and is made out to the Minneapolis Lakers player Tony Jaros who was a two time champion with the Lakers (including the first ever NBA championship in 1950). The check has been fully authenticated and encapsulated in a sealed holder by PSA/DNA with authentication #84320780, and was previously authenticated by JSA as well with sticker and matching certificate of authenticity #J81470. These authentication numbers may be verified on the respective company's websites by entering the corresponding COA number to get confirmation of the specific signed item. This extremely clean check does display very well and is tied into the very early history of the Lakers as Hartman also helped in the formation of the Lakers franchise.
