This lens is the 5th DG DN lens from Sigma, designed specifically for cameras with a short flange back distance. The DG DN series achieves a supreme combination of optical performance and compactness. The stepping motor system is optimized for both phase detection AF and contrast AF, making shooting with video or eye-tracking AF smooth. The lens construction comprises 16 groups and 22 elements, with one FLD and four SLDs used for the effective correction of aberrations and distortions.
