The author and Pulitzer Prize winner for Foreign Correspondence, Bruce Atkinson, inscribed the book to Stanley Leonard on the first free endpaper. Don Freeman illustrated. The book measures about 6" x 8-3/4" and consumes 376 pages. The binding grades very good with minimal shelfwear, albeit with some light foxing to the fabric. The unclipped dustjacket (original price, $4.00) has wear at the extremities with small losses, and grades about good. It has been protected in Brodart.
