Description: I have for sale a vintage serigraph / silkscreen The title of the piece is "Race Riot", and is signed on the back "Andy Warhol" It is a halftone silkscreen print on textured, color paper. It depicts a police dog attacking a fleeing black man. During Civil Rights Protest at Birmingham in 1963 On the back is a stamp that says: Andy Warhol Art Authentication Board, Inc. Authentic It it stamped “DENIED” Twice. Under the stamp is written in pencil: B123.025 As you may be aware, the "Denied" on the stamp on the back does not necessarily mean that it is not an authentic work by Warhol. Many have questioned the authentication process over the years, and the authentication board is no longer active. Please note that I'm not claiming that this artwork is real or fake. The size of the paper is 26 wide, and 22" tall Thanks for looking!
