Description: Signed BB King 2006 Concert Poster and Ticket 22" x 14" - (#900-709) Click images to enlarge Description Offered are two items signed by legendary blues musician BB King. These pieces were obtained at his North American Tour stop at the Winstar Showplace Theater in Thackerville, Oklahoma on February 25, 2006. The heavy card stock concert poster/window card is bright orange with black print. The other item is the entire concert ticket from that event. Both are nicely signed by the “King of Blues” himself. This poster and concert ticket will be shipped flat. The poster was printed by the renowned company “Hatch Show Print”. Wording on the poster reads: ”2006 KRS Inc under license to Music City Merchandise. Created by Hatch Show Print, Nashville, Tennessee”. Born Riley B. King on September 16, 1925 on a plantation in the small town of Itta Bena, Mississippi, B. B. King rose to prominence to become one of the most influential blues musicians and electric guitarists of the 20th century. Throughout his career, he was constantly pushing the sounds of blues to new levels, introducing his own style of guitar playing that would shape the sounds of rock and roll, R&B, soul, funk, and many other genres of music, earning himself the well-deserved nickname "The King of Blues." He famously named his guitars naming his favorite guitar "Lucille" and gifted it to Pope John Paull II in 1997. Additionally, he was a well-known associate of Elvis Presley, of whom King spoke highly. He passed away at the age of 89 and was buried at the B.B. King Museum in Indianola, Mississippi. Dimension/size – the poster measures about 13 ¾” x 22 ¼”. The concert ticket is about 5 ½” x 2”. Condition – this poster and ticket are in excellent condition with no serious issues to report. It was intentionally designed to have an “antique” rustic appearance. There is some saturated ink bleed on the back at the bottom of the poster which is normal and is an expected feature of the Hatch Show Print company. Please see photos. About Us The Amazing Grace on eBay store was opened to assist us in selling the rather extensive estate of a friend's mother that we have "inherited". Sally collected a variety of things for many years and 95% of the over 1,200 treasures have been in storage for the last 20 years or more. From depression glass to Asian porcelain and carvings to Native American turquiose & silver jewelry, Sally was a very accomplished collector and even had numerous reference books that accompanied her collections. We have since expanded to also sell other "inherited" collections as well as estate and garage sale finds.
