Description: Shipping to Hawaii a little higher then price quoted. I believe this is curly koa but it won't show the curl in the pictures which is just on the cover piece. Vintage signed by well known Koa artist DIRK. I brought this from hawaii when I moved to Sedona and just now took it out of storage and found the cover is stuck closed. i do not want to scratch or damage it in any way trying to lift the lid.There is a very small spot on one end where I tried to open it so it is a wee tad lighter on that spot. See close up. I believe the cover is curly koa but the curl wont show in the pictures. A lovely old piece. Measures 7" by 5" by almost 1 3/4 " tall.
