The fabulous "Bar" pattern was designed by renowned designer Rudolf Eschler in 1934 to emulate the optical illusion of ice cubes. This whiskey decanter, production number 47, and accompanying six distillate spirit (shot) glasses feature the Moser dark pink/peach Rosalin color. Each piece of crystal is hand-blown & hand-cut to the signature square base shape, and polished to a high-shine by master craftsmen. This set includes a decanter and six matching spirit glasses. The decanter holds approx. 750 ml (25 ounces). The spirt glasses hold approx. 45 ml (1 1/2 ounces). Decanter is marked with the acid mark "Moser Karlsbad" [this mark begun use in 1946] and a provenance mark on two lines "Made in Czechoslovakia" (mostly illegible). The decanter and stopper are both hand-numbered "47." A great addition to any collection! CONDITION: The set presents beautifully and is in very good antique condition, with minimal display wear and patina commensurate with age. The decanter has minimal wear, micro-scuffing, but no chips or cracks. The stopper has a virtually invisible old professional repair to its neck; we only mention this in the interest of full disclosure as it is really not visible when displayed. The shot glasses are in very good condition, with minimal wear/micro-scuffing but no chips or cracks. Please review all photos before purchasing.
