Internally the block is sound, the pages have some light age toning, but generally clean and tight. Pictorial jacket unclipped, but with some creasing and chipping to the edges, spine unevenly faded. Vg/Good- overall. HEAVY at approx 2.5kg packed. First edition book that gathers together an account of the voyage of H.M.S. Beagle round the world in 1831-36, taken from the letter of Darwin and Fitzroy, Darwin's diary, and the books about the voyage published by Darwin and Fitzroy in 1839.---------------------------------------------One of a number of similar items I am selling. Fair: Another term for Poor or Reading Copy: Heavily worn or damaged, a poor book will be readable but not attractive.
