Description: Signed & inscribed by author Now and Then recalls history of Northern Ontario mining This signed first edition is a collection of stories of early life in the mining camps in the Nickel region of northern Ontario in the last century. Now and Then brings together many iconic stories that originally appeared in The Northern Miner newspaper, written by columnist James Cumming. Cumming wrote a lengthy greeting on the front free end paper and signed and dated it in 1977. He also wrote a separate greeting on a sheet of paper, and signed that one, Jim. The book is in Near Fine condition, with a tight binding, clean and bright covers and spine, and a matching Near Fine dust jacket. There is no writing or signs of previous ownership save the author's inscription: no names, bookplates or library markings. The textblock is solid and unmarked. Published by The Northern Miner, Toronto with 288 pages. We gladly combine shipping to help you maximize your book budget. In many cases, a second book ships for no or little additional fee.
