Description: Sikorsky MH-53 Pave Low Coupler Control Panel Special Ops/CSAR 65902-01530-041 – USAF After conducting online research on this part number, I have narrowed it down to belonging to a variant of the MH-53 Pave Low manufactured for the United States Air Force in the 1960’s and onward. This was possibly in service during the Vietnam War for special operations and/or combat search and rescue (CSAR). Please do send me a note if any information is incorrect or needs clarification. Overall, the panel has scratching all over, paint fading/chipping, dusty, dirty, dents and dings as seen in the photos. There are 2 total tags attached to the panel:1) Hand written tag in pen only including:a. Hill AFB, Utah (This base was the Air Force Logistics Command at the time with base operating unit: 2849th Air Base Gp)b. 6-1-73c. Coupled s/n S-2 C94972) A yellow Sikorsky Aircraft serviceable GFP. This tag information does match the P/N and serial number marked on the rear plate of the panel. The bottom of the case holding the panel has the following numbers engraved in it: 65902 01539 101A. Then with an etching pen, someone wrote under this number which is hard to make out. Unknown current working condition. Could be a cool history décor piece or used as a prop.
