This is a story of suspense, drama, but most of all true love, and two people bent on not losing it Author Biography About the Author Earl Slapowski was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in nineteen-forty-six. He grew up in Pittsburghs East End. While attending Morehead State University, in Morehead Kentucky, Earl found a mentor, Professor Brown, PhD. His writing skills were honed, and he even started to compose poetry. After Earl finished his education, there was only the business world that gave him the opportunity to make a living. He would have much rather sat in a quiet place and write for the rest of his life. However, his financial circumstances did not warrant that particular lifestyle. Earl did continue to write poetry and short stories keeping his writing to himself. During the late seventies and early eighties, it was tough to make ends meet. Suzy and Earl struggled, but with hard work and long hours, they finally got their heads above water. Due to Earls health, his doctors suggested an early retirement in two-thousand and eight. That year he decided to write full time, and he completed his first novel in May of two-thousand and ten, Silvas Moves to Barton. Mr. Slapowski has a unique writing style. When reading his work, it seems that he is actually telling you the story face to face. His characters come to life right off the page. We hope Earl will continue his writing for a long time.
