Description: These rimmed soup bowls (referred to as plates in the 1917 catalog) measure 9 inches in diameter and 1.5 inches in height. All pieces are in excellent antique condition, though some shelf wear is noticeable. All are signed with the early S inside a wreath instead of the block print. H.P. Sinclaire, Jr. opened his cutting shop in Corning, NY, in 1904. American Brilliant cut glass was at its peak popularity when Sinclaire broke away from TG Hawkes, where he had designed many engraved patterns. He initially used Dorflinger blanks until after World War I, when he began making his own glass blanks. I currently have 11 of these plates in stock. Please review the pictures and ask any questions you may have. (3595)
