Description: 6 antique brass door hinges 4 1/2 inches long. These are heavy, thick, cast brass and in very good usable condition.On their backs it's stated they were patented in 1869.Also on their backs, four have an "R" two have an "L". We assume this means "Right" and "Left". These pins are on opposite sides as shown in the last three photos. They're 8 inches from hinge pin steeple tip tip, to tip.Each hinge weighs, by itself, just under 1 1/4 poundsTogether they weigh just under 7 1/4 pounds We usually sell antique Japanese items but we are also listing our collection of Victorian / Eastlake Vintage house hardware.Take a look at our other items.
