Description: This is a pair of Silver coloured drop earrings made from SIXPENCE or TANNER coins. The earliest are from 1947, latest from 1967. There are three versions, as shown. King George VI - 1947 & 1948. King George VI - 1949 to 1951. Queen Elizabeth II - 1953 to 1967. From 1947 to 1951 they have two different Royal Cyphers for King George VI. From 1953 to 1967 they have the UK's national emblems of Rose, Thistle, Shamrock & Leek. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The hooks and rings are new and silver plated.
